Research

This is why project prioritization is key and access to data sets, research and modelling tools is critical to success.

The Nature Force advantage is that projects are not just prioritized and planned, they are delivered and include for ongoing monitoring and management for years to come.  This data is then aggregated to inform future conservation research, actions, policies, and protocols.

Conservation partner Ducks Unlimited Canada has been working towards a comprehensive Canadian Wetland Inventory (CWI) for 20 years in partnership with Environment Canada, the Canadian Space Agency and the North American Wetlands Conservation Council. This is critical for prioritizing efforts and monitoring wetland performance, assessing changes and climate change concerns, while assisting industry, governments and conservation groups to develop land-use policies and protocols and measuring their performance.
